Die International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (kurz IGPME) ist eine internationale Gruppe von 700 bis 800 Mathematikpädagogen und -wissenschaftlern aus über 60 Ländern, die sich jährlich zu der Conference of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (kurz PME) zusammenfinden. Die jährliche, 5-tägige Konferenz PME ermöglicht den Mitgliedern persönliche Kommunikation untereinander. Die PME bietet unter anderem Raum für Plenumsdiskussionen, Präsentationen von Forschungsarbeiten, Arbeitsgruppen, Poster Sessions. Die PME findet jedes Jahr in einem anderen Land statt.
